What a wonderful romance to read on Valentine’s Day! This is one of the best romances Lynne Graham ever wrote. The heroine Poppy is adorably clumsy, and very sweet and caring. She had been a nanny, but got very attached to the children, and when her job ended with the family, decided to do something else to avoid that pain. She got a lowly job in the marketing department at the hero Santino’s company, when his father, who at the opening of the story is recently deceased, decided to give her a chance after she was turned down in fifty other interviews. It is clear to everyone in the company, except Santino’s womanizing and vindictive personal assistant, that big, gorgeous Santino has been fascinated with Poppy from the start.

Santino is a very different LG hero. There is a gentleness to him that is very rare for LG, and he is lacking the terrible, harsh cynicism almost all her heroes have. There are some of the precious touches of humor that LG does so well on the occasions when she puts them in her romances.

All in all, this book is a treat for fans of LG.
