This is a reprint of short stories previously contained in anthologies. I frequently only want the stories by one author in such anthologies, and I am always delighted when I can get them in a collection of stories by one author in Kindle form.
Loretta Chase is one of my favorite historical-romance authors, and I was delighted to discover two short stories that I had previously missed.
In Lord Lovedon’s Duel, Chloe Sharp is a strong heroine, which I have come to expect from Loretta Chase. What a fun story, in which the heroine challenges the hero to a duel. I haven’t seen anything like that in a historical-romance plot since Moonstruck Madness by Laurie McBain from over 40 years ago.
In The Jilting of Lord Rothwick, there is a very exciting romantic adventure when the Marquess of Rothwick refuses to blandly accept his fate when his fiancée, Barbara Findley, breaks off their engagement. He is determined to woo her and win her back.
I highly recommend this Kindle collection for fans of Loretta Chase.
